Black Box Dinner

The Atelier team is heading to Kelowna to represent Ottawa in February by competing in the Canadian Culinary Championship. As part of the event, we will be doing a black box competition - where the ingredients are revealed at the last minute. We will then have 10 minutes to design a menu that uses all ingredients in the black box, and 50 minutes to prepare 22 plates for the judges. Sounds like fun doesn't it?

What better way to prepare than to subject ourselves to a live black box dinner at the restaurant, where our guests bring us the secret ingredients? That's just the dinner we'll be putting on Monday, January 16th. Reserve a spot (fast) and bring us any ingredient you want - lamb necks, corn flakes, whatever - and we will craft a menu using all of them!
