Steve Robinson
Sommelier
Pembroke-native Steve Robinson became enamored with two things at the beginning of his professional career: wine and science. After studying chemistry at the University of Ottawa, he took jobs in both a retail wine outlet and an upscale restaurant to focus on broadening his overall wine knowledge. Steve helped to open Atelier and he received his sommelier certification from Algonquin College in 2009. He has twice competed in Ontario's Best Sommelier Competition, placing 4th overall in 2010, and then placing 2nd overall in 2012. Steve is also a proud recipient of a top 30 under 30 award from the Ontario Hostelry Institute.
